AIAA e-book collection now available to RAeS members

The RAeS collection of e-books and e-journals provide an easy way for members to brush up skills, explore professional interests and keep up to date with recent developments, all of which can count towards Continued Professional Development (CPD). By logging into our e-library, members now have access to over 300 e-book titles from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Press, more than doubling the number of e-books that can be accessed as part of RAeS membership.

The collection includes:

• Over 200 cutting-edge advanced space and aviation science and engineering titles from their Progress in Astronautics and Aeronautics series. It includes modern titles plus classics that range back to the 1960s.
• Historians and those who want to find the answer to today’s problems from years gone by can explore over 60 items from the Library of Flight, including case studies of the BAe Hawk, Boeing 727 and Concorde, company histories, including those on Grumman and Pratt & Whitney, and histories of WW2 German aircraft design, the space shuttle, Soviet missile defence and airship design.
• A selection of classic textbooks from the AIAA Education Series.

This new AIAA material supplements our main e-book collection which provides text books aimed at a wide range of aero professions together with material aimed at new professionals, apprentice members and those looking to brush up before they study aerospace engineering at university, plus recommendations from RAeS book reviewers.
