Diary

The Caproni Ca60 Transaereo or Noviplano (nine-wing), was the prototype of a large nine-wing flying boat intended to become a 100-passenger transatlantic airliner. It had eight engines and three sets of triple wings. Following a brief first flight from Lake Maggiore, the Ca60 crashed shortly after take-off on its second flight on 4 March 1921.
